EASTFIELD- Houmous

From what I understand, this is a collection of compilation and single songs and it is with the group Eatfield. Which unfortunately has been a bit forgotten, perhaps not only by me but by the large punk audience. They's tougher than I remembered and it's the kind of punk I really like. In Radio West they sound almost like a tougher Gonads and I really like when the girls are there in the background and sing a little chorus as they do in many of the songs. 32 songs is all in all and this collection is really worth having in your collection to "avoid" putting on single after single. In Three seats I think I hear influences from Blyth Power and apparently their music is called railpunk…. Sometimes I think you can compare the group with Crass but in a more poppy way and I get more and more in love in the group after each song. Energy and melodies that are difficult to defend against and I do not want that either. So why not give this wonderful punk group a chance and this record is a good introduction to the group I think! 12/8-2020
