Flat Back Four are a punk band from St Helens and Manchester in the north west of England. They like football, beer, cricket, curry, history, and – of course – punk. Well, and metal, come to think of it. They dislike lethargy, apathy and whingeing. They play fast, catchy songs about the things they like, and like to blend punk, progressive, metal and hardcore styles.

They have released four Ep's, one album (Who Dares Penguins), and one split cd. They like playing gigs more than anything else on earth, and have extensively toured up and down the UK and Europe.
